Capital Campaign – 2018 April Update

by Brian Lau

The month of April brings good news to all our staff, clients, partners, and friends in our community. Asian Health and Service Center’s Capital Campaign is nearing completion and we’re getting excited.

Last month, the center held an all staff retreat on President’s Day. It was a day to come together and reflect about our center’s “role & responsibility” in the community in coming years. Director Holden Leung shared a vision on what it means to be a “Bridge”. It is not just something that you walk on, but a way to “connect” one person to another. It also provides a path to reach a new destination. Our role is to be a bridge for new generations, to connect our community together and reach new possibilities.

Thank you for those who have pledged your support. The Capital Campaign is entering the final phase to cross the finish line. We have raised $5,335,806 as of March 1, 2018, out of the $6 million. That means we are just $600,000 or 10% from our goal. Please join us to cross the finish line and invite your friends and families to reach the campaign goal.

The expected completion date is June 2018 and the grand opening will take place on 8/8/18.
